Job Title: Innovation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Innovation Project Manager to join our team at UK Power Networks. As a key member of our Strategy, Safety & Support Services Innovation Team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of digitalisation and cyber security projects, including the Constellation project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of new software solutions, including the development of digitalisation and cyber security deliverables.
  • Oversee the management of cloud systems and ensure seamless integration following the project's delivery plan.
  • Accountable for delivering workstreams to time, scope, and quality.
  • Lead a range of development and engagement programs, ensuring a smooth transition of developed solutions into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements:

  • Batchelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, and/or Information technology.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to present recommendations to partners and translate technical information for non-technical teams.
  • An understanding of software development life cycles.
  • Experience in procurement activities and managing project-related tenders.
  • Experience managing software suppliers throughout a project lifecycle.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualification.
  • Experience delivering cloud computing solutions and in cyber security.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture requirements for smart grids and Distribution System Operation.
