About the Role:

The University of Hull is seeking a skilled Data Insights Partner to join its HR Systems & Data team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing routine and planned data requests and activities, as well as providing insights and data modelling to inform strategic decisions and planning.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the Directorate and University to produce trend analysis and data visualisations using tools such as PowerBI. Your ability to present complex data in an accessible format will be essential in supporting the team's objectives and delivering business-critical insights.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of taking data from multiple sources, using data analysis and insights to inform decision making. You will also have a working knowledge of GDPR and data compliance to ensure the security of our data.

This is a fixed-term role for months, providing an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in people analytics and data visualisation.

About You:
  • You will have a strong understanding of data analysis and insights, with the ability to present complex data in an accessible format.
  • You will be able to manage multiple requests from different stakeholders with differing importance and deadlines.
  • You will have a working knowledge of GDPR and data compliance.
  • You will be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Directorate and University.
  • You will have experience of delivering statutory returns, such as HESA returns.
