Care Assistant Opportunity

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Amber Wood, a purpose-built dementia-specialist residential care home in Burton-on-Trent.

This rewarding role will see you work closely with residents who require specialist care and support, promoting their independence and well-being in a safe and stimulating environment.

The estimated salary for this role is £11.84 per hour, reflective of the competitive market rate in the area.

Key Tasks
  • Provide high-quality care and support to residents with dementia and complex needs
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a culture of quality and excellence, upholding the highest standards of care and customer service
Requirements
  • Experience working in a care environment, although training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and understanding approach
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development, embracing new challenges and opportunities
