Job Description

Pertemps TM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Bristol. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all Engineering Services activities on the project and ensuring that the project is delivered within budget and to the client's satisfaction.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience of managing projects from inception to completion, including technical, commercial, and safety aspects. You will be responsible for managing the project team, reporting any staff issues, and representing the company on internal and external issues. Additionally, you will be required to regularly audit the project to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • To manage all Engineering Services activities on the project, ensuring that they are delivered within budget and to the client's satisfaction.

  • To manage procurement and achieve best value for Engineering Services.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar.
  • Experience of managing projects from inception to completion, including technical, commercial, and safety aspects.
  • Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification and manage procurement, labour, and sub-contractors.
  • Experience of co-ordinating M&E Services installations and compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
  • BTEC: HNC Building Services or BTEC: ONC Building Services.
  • IOSH directing safely or equivalent desirable.
  • CSCS card.
  • SMSTS – desirable.
