We are recruiting a skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Nexgen Group, offering professional cleaning and grounds maintenance services to various sectors.

About the Job:

  • This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday from 15:15pm to 18:45pm, with an estimated salary range of £13.15 per hour.
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a cleaning environment and be IT literate, able to use a tablet and smartphone apps.

Responsibilities:

  • Dust, damp wipe or wash walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Hovering of carpeted areas.
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles and transporting waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenishing consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual).
  • Cleaning kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a cleaning environment is essential.Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
