Histopathology Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Histopathology Consultant to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. As a senior employee of the Trust, you will work in close co-operation with, and support other clinical medical, professional, and managerial colleagues in providing high-quality healthcare to the Trust's patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a first-class service to patients, families, and carers.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement effective leadership strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care.

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent qualification.
- Fellowship of Royal College of Pathologists or equivalent qualification.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a licence to practise.
- Experience in Histopathology and Cytology, with a strong understanding of laboratory management and leadership principles.
