About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Manager to lead our new solo-occupancy home in Thornton-Cleveleys, supporting children with Emotional and Behavioural Disorders (EBD). As part of our dedicated team, you will receive full support through the registration process, help with documentation, and the chance to interview and hire your own staff.

Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of care staff to provide high-quality care for children and young people.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure safeguarding and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to demonstrate quality of care and service delivery.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare.
  • At least 2 years in a senior position within residential childcare.
  • The Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving licence.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £43,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus performance-related bonuses. You will also receive comprehensive training and support, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to develop your skills and career. Our company prioritizes quality care over occupancy rates, and our approach to KPIs focuses on the retention of care staff and feedback from young people, services, and stakeholders rather than just occupancy levels.
