Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Network Director of Operations to join our team at Verelogic IT Recruitment. As a key member of our Operations Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the Network Strategy and Operational Solution Design for our propositions.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of network strategy and its impact on business operations. You will be responsible for managing the operational solutioning for the Growth pipeline and interacting with other functions to ensure that new business embeds into a sustainable predesigned and pre-agreed solution to our business End to End (E2E) Operating Model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the Network Strategy and Operational Solution Design for our propositions
- Manage the operational solutioning for the Growth pipeline
- Interact with other functions to ensure that new business embeds into a sustainable predesigned and pre-agreed solution
- Develop and implement process flow and process optimisation strategies
- Manage the pipeline for capital projects and detailed operating procedures
- Develop and implement Operational Excellence (OE) methodology
Requirements
- Strong understanding of network strategy and its impact on business operations
- Previous experience in managing and designing logistics networks, including Hub and Spoke and multi-site configurations
- Expertise in solution design, including layout, process, and flow optimisation
- Knowledge of automation technologies and their application in operational settings
- Understanding of cost analysis and KPI development for new business solutions
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including stakeholder engagement with other functional specialists
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities
