Network and Operational Solutions Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Operational Solutions Director to join our Operations Senior Leadership Team at Verelogic IT Recruitment.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of network strategy and its impact on business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering the Network Strategy as well as the Operational Solution Design for our propositions (Core and Growth), to enable them to embed as business as usual (BAU) and deliver the service and cost requirements for our customers and our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the Network Strategy and Operational Solution Design for our propositions
  • Lead and motivate a team of logistics and network professionals
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure new business embeds into a sustainable predesigned and pre-agreed solution to our business End to End (E2E) Operating Model
  • Manage the pipeline for capital projects and detailed operating procedures
  • Apply expertise in solution design, including layout, process, and flow optimisation
  • Develop and implement cost analysis and KPI development for new business solutions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of network strategy and its impact on business operations
  • Previous experience in managing and designing logistics networks, including Hub and Spoke and multi-site configurations
  • Expertise in solution design, including layout, process, and flow optimisation
  • Knowledge of automation technologies and their application in operational settings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including stakeholder engagement with other functional specialists
  • Excellent strategic planning and analytical abilities
