We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Lecturer to join our team at the University of Worcester. As a key member of our Department of Computing, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of cyber security professionals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will hold a Master's level qualification in Computer Science or a related field and have contemporary subject knowledge and/or experience of professional practice in several areas, including:

  • Cyber Security
  • Computer Forensics
  • Operating Systems
  • Managing Cyber Threats and Risks
  • Digital Ethics and Governance
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • Internet of Things and IoT Security
  • Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence

You will be expected to contribute to the development of existing and new course offerings in our Computing Undergraduate and Postgraduate portfolio, as well as contributing to research and knowledge exchange activities within the Department of Computing.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, annual incremental increase up to £41,732, with the opportunity to progress to £45,585, 47 days of leave per year, and a range of benefits, including a Teachers Pension Scheme, research support, and access to a range of benefits such as our Staff Retail Benefits Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme, and Tusker Car Leasing.
