Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security and Data Protection Specialist to join our team at Open GI Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for responding to customer assessments or requests for information related to cyber security and data protection.
  • Create and maintain a pool of knowledge for use in due diligence requests and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Perform assessments of control measures for cyber, data protection, business continuity, and other controls.
  • Maintain a schedule of policy reviews and updates, including regulatory or legal requirements.
  • Manage a register of sub-processors or material sub-contractors processing data on behalf of Open GI, and work with Legal and Data Protection to ensure necessary notices are up to date.
  • Work with the Data Protection Officer to develop and maintain our record of processing activities (ROPA) in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the management and reporting of security or data protection incidents.
  • Initiate and progress data protection impact assessments (DPIA's) for all group companies where risks are present.
  • Assist with planning and testing of business continuity or disaster recovery plans.
  • Perform scheduled group wide department independent assessments to determine the current cyber and data protection control alignment with our agreed baseline.
  • Manage a schedule of external penetration tests and internal vulnerability tests.
  • Reasonably assist the legal team with information collection as required.
Requirements
  • Formal qualifications such as a relevant degree or ISTQB Foundation certification.
  • Agile qualifications and Microsoft Azure accreditation are advantageous.
  • 5 years+ of experience in a senior QA Management role.
  • Strong test automation application experience and excellent experience in Non-functional testing techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience of working directly with development teams and experience of working in Financial and insurance industries.
  • Experience of working with and managing dedicated offshore teams and experience in writing test harnesses to facilitate manual testing.
  • Commercial experience in a software testing environment and broad understanding of QA tools and industry best practices.
