About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Service: Participate in the preparation of food items according to guest orders, following recipe cards and production, portion, and presentation standards.

  • Team Leadership: Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise the work of kitchen employees, ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.

  • Inventory Management: Date all food containers, rotate stock as per policies, and check pars for shift use, determining necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line set up.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Qualifications: NVQ level 3 in Catering or equivalent.

  • Culinary Knowledge: Advanced culinary knowledge is expected for this position.

  • Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory experience is required.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate, maintain, and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill. Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.
