About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dermatology Consultant to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dermatological care to patients in Cornwall and progressing a sub-specialty interest to complement our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert dermatological care to patients, maintaining the highest clinical standards.
  • Share responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department.
  • Teach and train junior staff and medical students.
  • Ensure active participation in continuing medical education (CME) and contribute to departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit.
  • Attend meetings and fulfill duties of the weekly timetable, including out-of-hours responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Wide experience in all aspects of Dermatology.
  • Teaching (medical students, peers, MDT).
  • Experienced in clinical audit and clinical governance.
  • Mohs / Surgical Fellowship (desirable).
