Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Consultant Dermatologist to join our well-established team in beautiful Cornwall.

This full-time (10 PA) position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing department focused on developing innovative models of care for patients across the hospital and local community.

Your Role:

  • Provide high-quality dermatological care to patients in Cornwall.
  • Develop a sub-specialty interest to complement our existing team.
  • Manage two-week wait referrals effectively.
  • Maintain the highest clinical standards in all aspects of dermatology.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the day-to-day management of the Dermatology Department.
  • Mentor junior staff and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Actively participate in continuing medical education (CME) to stay at the forefront of advancements in dermatology.
  • Contribute to departmental and Trust initiatives related to Clinical Governance and Audit.
  • Fulfill weekly timetable duties, including any out-of-hours responsibilities as required.
  • Embrace sustainability principles and contribute to the Trust's commitment to achieving NHS Net Zero targets.
