Dual Role Security and Cleaning Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dual Role Security and Cleaning Officer to join our team at ABM UK. In this dynamic and varied role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest cleaning standards within the Centre, delivering a clean and safe environment for all visitors.
You will work closely with the Facilities Manager and Centre Manager to implement efficient recycling and waste management practices, conduct daily inspections of the site, and ensure all Health & Safety checks are carried out.
As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for preventing, detecting, and investigating disturbances, offences, and signs of intrusion, ensuring the security of doors and gates, and maintaining a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.
Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately reporting incidents and accidents, writing reports of daily activities, and attending court or tribunal to give evidence when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest cleaning standards within the Centre
- Implement efficient recycling and waste management practices
- Conduct daily inspections of the site
- Ensure all Health & Safety checks are carried out
- Prevent, detect, and investigate disturbances, offences, and signs of intrusion
- Maintain a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors
- Accurately report incidents and accidents
- Write reports of daily activities
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (training will be provided for the right candidate)

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £12.13 per hour, with a shift pattern of Monday to Thursday, 1900-0500, working 40 hours per week. We also offer a range of benefits, including 24/7 GP, mental health support, and a cycle to work scheme.
