About the Role

The Inclusion Lead will play a key role in our small school community, working closely with the Head Teacher to develop and implement inclusive practice that promotes the highest standards of pupil social, emotional, and mental well-being.

You will be responsible for assisting the Head Teacher in ensuring that our school provides a safe and supportive environment for all pupils, and that our policies and procedures are effective in promoting inclusion and safeguarding.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people with SEMH needs, and to contribute to the development of our school's vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Teacher in developing and implementing inclusive practice that promotes pupil social, emotional, and mental well-being
  • Support the development and updating of documentation, including risk management and safety planning for pupils
  • Lead on specific key documentation, such as Pupil Support Plans, under the direction of the Head Teacher
  • Assist the Head Teacher with safeguarding and any intervention/administrative duties
  • Support the development, improvement, and strategic work across the school
