Job Description

Apex Resources is currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Irvine. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the quality of our products, from sampling and testing incoming goods to performing end-of-line quality inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling and Testing: Conduct daily sampling and testing of incoming goods, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record and label all sampled goods, maintain up-to-date records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Certificate Verification: Verify Certificates of Conformity from suppliers to ensure their products meet our quality expectations.
  • Reporting: Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Support: Provide support to the laboratory team, including routine calibration checks and maintenance of equipment.
  • Release of Components: Ensure the release of components and ingredients to Good Stock, adhering to established protocols.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices within the workplace.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a quality assurance role, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong understanding of quality systems and regulations. A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, reflects the importance of this role in maintaining our company's reputation for excellence.
