Brookside Care Home is an established care home in Melksham, providing compassionate, individualised residential care for up to 50 residents.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Programme Coordinator to join our team, responsible for creating and delivering a stimulating programme of activities and events that engage our residents, promote their independence and meet their individual needs.

You will work closely with our residents, getting to know them, finding out what they love to do, and finding ways of creating new memories with them.

In joining us, you will become part of our extended family, working alongside other team members who share your passion for providing care and making a positive difference in people's lives.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in creating, organising and delivering events and activities, or experience working with elderly people in a residential setting
  • Ability to engage with our residents, understand their needs and tailor your programme to meet their individual requirements
  • Comfortable engaging with the local community, bringing people in to enhance your activities programme as necessary
  • Ability to encourage team members, relatives and friends to participate in the activities and events you organise
