As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy team, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy, with knowledge of pharmaceutical technical procedures and significant experience post-registration. They will be able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £31,081 - £33,665 per annum, including HCA, and opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rotating between Dispensary and Aseptic Services to gain practical experience and assist in delivering services in each section.
  • Promoting pharmaceutical care for all patients.
  • Liaising with ward and pharmacy staff to facilitate efficient medication transfer.
  • Maintaining patients' own drugs and one-stop dispensing systems as the pharmacy technical link between wards and pharmacy.
  • Implementing new or revised policies and procedures impacting the Pharmacy Department.
