Job Description

We are seeking an experienced paediatric medical consultant to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, leading a team of medical professionals, and contributing to the development of clinical services.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £123,000 - £155,000. The actual salary may vary based on individual circumstances and location.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Governance: Provide leadership and governance for a team of medical professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
  2. Service Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical services, increasing efficiency and reducing wait times.
  3. Trauma Care: Develop and implement trauma care plans, ensuring effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Education and Training: Provide training and education to junior medical staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
  5. Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in research and quality improvement activities, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in paediatrics and improving patient outcomes.
