Resident Dining Experience Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated Resident Dining Experience Team Member to join our team at Norse Group.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents through daily interaction and meal preparation.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent position with 27.75 hours per week.
  • The shift pattern includes Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays (07:30-18:00) in Week 1, and Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (07:30-18:00) in Week 2.

As a key member of our dining team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food, supervising the onsite catering team, and ensuring the delivery of our catering service when the Cook Manager is absent.

A Day in the Life:

You will work collaboratively with our care team to provide essential information about residents using a detailed handover sheet.

Your responsibilities will include managing food safety, health and safety, and food allergens, allowing you to focus on providing excellent food services.

You will have access to our electronic tablet, which will serve as a communication tool and provide regular updates, reducing paperwork.

Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment is required, alongside an organised approach and knowledge of textured modified diets (IDDSI).
