Job Title: Accounts and Operations Co-ordinator

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Accounts and Operations Co-ordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for executing the end-to-end movement of global shipments within a regional network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest standard of Flexport quality by ensuring shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
  • Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners, including steamship lines, air carriers, intermodal and drayage vendors, customs, trade lane management, warehousing, transloading, trucking, and the air operations team.
  • Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting (ocean freight knowledge is a plus)
  • Valid visa/work permit to work in the UK
  • Fluent in English
  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing
  • Teamwork and relationship building
  • A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy
