Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and Facilitate Teaching and Learning: Design and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to the needs of our learners, focusing on the development of new knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
  • Support and Deliver Functional Skills: Provide support and deliver English, Maths, and ICT functional skills training to our learners, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Complete Teaching and Learning Visits: Conduct regular teaching and learning visits to monitor learner progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Engage with Learners and Line Managers: Build strong relationships with learners and their line managers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful completion of apprenticeships.
  • Coach Learners to Collect Evidence: Work with learners to collect evidence of their skills and knowledge, ensuring they meet the requirements for EPA or framework completion.
  • Monitor and Review Learner Welfare: Regularly review learner welfare, taking proactive steps to minimize early leavers and maintain agreed caseload levels.
  • Carry Out Enrichment Activities: Deliver enrichment activities focused on prevent, safeguarding, and British values, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage Administration Duties: Complete administration tasks efficiently, ensuring all paperwork deadlines are met and records are up-to-date.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Research industry trends, competitor practices, and delivery activities to ensure our training remains relevant and effective.
  • Evaluate and Modify Training Delivery: Regularly evaluate training delivery, making adjustments based on learner feedback, stakeholder input, and audit results.
  • Monitor Health and Safety: Ensure a safe learning environment by monitoring health and safety and learner accidents within apprentice workplaces.
  • Provide IAG Services: Offer information, advice, and guidance to internal and external clients, promoting Total Training Provision's services and expertise.
  • Promote Total Training Provision: Act as an ambassador for Total Training Provision, promoting our services and values to stakeholders, learners, and the wider community.
Essential Criteria:
  • Deliver up to Level 7: Possess the necessary qualifications and experience to deliver training up to Level 7.
  • Relevant Occupational Qualification: Hold a Level 3 relevant occupational qualification or equivalent in your sector of expertise.
  • Assessor Award: Hold a D32/33/TAQA Level 3 Assessors Award or equivalent.
  • Functional Skills: Possess Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • Experience in Apprenticeship Training: Have experience delivering apprenticeship training and support in a work-based environment.
  • Assessment Experience: Proven experience assessing learners on apprenticeship frameworks, standards, and EPA requirements.
  • Knowledge of Government Funded Training: Have knowledge of government-funded training and its requirements.
  • Excellent Communication and IT Skills: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong IT knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to Work Remotely: Be able to work with minimal supervision as part of a remote team.
  • Motivation and Support: Show the ability to motivate and support learners in their learning journey.
Desirable or to be Undertaken as Part of Role:
  • Teacher, Training Qualifications: Hold PTLLS, CTLLS, or DTLLS qualifications.
  • D34 or V1 Award: Possess a D34 or V1 Award.
Other Requirements:
  • Flexibility and Mobility: Be able to work flexible hours and locations, if required.
  • Full Driving Licence: Possess a full driving licence and have access to a car.
