This is a fantastic opportunity to join Galliford Try as a Principal Site Engineer, working on our infrastructure projects and frameworks. We are looking for a skilled and experienced engineer to provide setting out and engineering control on site.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for participating in creating a safe working environment, coordinating site engineering control and setting out activities, and providing information to operatives and subcontractors. You will also be required to complete diary sheets, undertake material reconciliations, and ensure all surveying equipment is calibrated.

About You:

  • You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and relevant experience in site engineering.
  • You will be able to work safely, read and interpret data and drawings, and have knowledge of standard setting out techniques.
  • You will be flexible in your attitude to work and have strong problem-solving skills.
  • You will have a relevant CSCS card and be competent in the use of office software.
  • You will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate your skills and experience in a cover letter or CV.
