Senior Consultant - Major Projects & Programmes

As a Senior Consultant, you'll work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to drive business success. You'll have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, leveraging your expertise in Corporate Real Estate and/or Facilities Management to deliver exceptional results.

We're looking for individuals with a keen interest, experience, and knowledge in Corporate Real Estate and/or Facilities Management, supported by strong programme, project, and stakeholder management expertise. Responsibilities & Behaviours
  • Previous experience in consultancy and delivery within the defence sector is essential.
  • A cooperative team member supporting senior team members in the successful delivery of projects.
  • Capable of independently completing tasks and projects and taking responsibility for your own time management and ability to work towards overall project timescales and potentially tight deadlines.
  • Expected to support senior team members in business generation activities where required, such as bid writing and developing marketing material.
  • Capable of building strong, professional client relationships and identifying and resolving client's issues.
  • Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques, including the use of KPI's to improve project performance.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Commercially astute and have the ability to manage a project to maximise profit.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum three years' experience in a consultancy and delivery role.
  • Full time (with flexible working opportunities and home working).
  • Willingness to travel / stay overnight.

Person Specification

  • Experience in project and programme management such as Prince2 or similar.
  • Experience in a consultancy and delivery role.
  • Consultancy and delivery experience.
  • Report writing and evidence-based decision making.
  • Leadership and Management training.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a consultancy and delivery role.
  • Consultancy and delivery experience within a defence/security setting.
  • Corporate real estate and/or facilities management experience.
