Mental Health Support Worker

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in a Primary School setting. The successful candidate will work closely with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with SEMH and SEND needs in a Primary School setting
- Work closely with teachers to contribute to student EHCPs and individual needs
- Plan and deliver interventions alongside teachers
- Manage student behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- De-escalate situations and report safeguarding concerns
Requirements:
- Previous school experience or a supportive role
- Ability to drive and cover mileage
- Enhanced DBS check and subscription to the DBS Update Service
