About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Systems Technical Advisor to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy sector, delivering innovative projects and contributing to the company's mission to power the world through sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical advice and guidance on power systems projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide commercial, technical, and regulatory expertise to support the development of power systems projects.
- Lead on projects, or work alongside other subject matter experts, to deliver high-quality results.
- Oversee the work of engineers and graduate engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards, as well as regulatory and financial incentives for transmission and distribution network investment in GB.
- Strong understanding and leadership of engineering projects through asset lifecycles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desirable Requirements
- Chartered Engineer through the IET.
- Experience in regulatory and technical due diligence of transmission and distribution network assets.
- Experience in the preparation or assessment of business plans for regulated utilities and/or innovation project developments.
