About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our adult services team at Autism Unlimited. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting residents living in Muscliffe and Kinson, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  2. Engage residents in activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical exercise.
  3. Maintain accurate records of care plans, finances, appointments, and medication.
  4. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or complex care needs.
  • Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Full UK driving license (although access to a vehicle is not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
