The Role: Ecommerce UX/UI Designer

We're seeking a talented and experienced Ecommerce UX/UI Designer to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in developing innovative and user-friendly Shopify websites for a diverse range of Direct-to-Consumer brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Lead Designer to conceptualize, design, and deliver high-quality ecommerce websites.
  • Create compelling low-fidelity wireframes that evolve into polished, user-centered designs for both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Participate actively in client workshops, gathering insights and translating business objectives into effective design solutions.
  • Leverage data analytics tools like Hotjar and Google Analytics to inform design decisions and optimize user experience.
  • Develop conceptual designs that support the commercial team's marketing and sales strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in ecommerce design, gained through agency, in-house, or freelance work.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise, with a focus on quality over quantity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to thrive in a collaborative environment and effectively interact with clients.
  • Strong time management abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with Shopify is highly desirable.
