About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce UX/UI Designer to join our team at Digital Waffle. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly experiences for our clients' Shopify websites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Lead Designer to develop high-quality design outcomes for Direct-to-Consumer Shopify websites.
  • Design low-fi wireframes and transform them into polished design outcomes for Desktop and Mobile platforms.
  • Participate in client workshops to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Utilize tools such as Hotjar and Google Analytics to inform design decisions.
  • Create conceptual designs to support our commercial team.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, gained through agency, in-house, or freelance work.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design skills, with a focus on quality over quantity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a small group setting.
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with Shopify is highly preferred.
