As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people who require support to develop the skills needed to succeed and achieve in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to children and young people in a range of community settings, including patient homes, community hospitals, and local clinics.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Use your clinical expertise and judgement to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients to reach their goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice and policies within the trust.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Recognised Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
- Health and Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice.
- Registered Member of professional body.
- Minimum of 5 years paediatric experience.
- In-depth and recent experience in a specialist clinical area.
- Evidence of continued professional development in area of clinical specialism.
- Experience of providing line supervision and/or clinical supervision in area of clinical specialism.
- Evidence of innovative working and supporting change.
- Evidence of creating profession-specific documentation (care pathways/leaflets).
- Experience of partnership working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in patient engagement and audit.
- Experience of delivering training within clinical specialism to a range of audiences.
