Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and qualified Nursing Associate to support the Emergency Assessment Unit team in providing comprehensive plans of care to prevent patients being admitted into the hospital.
The team works to a shift pattern basis, supported by a Multidisciplinary team, and the successful candidate will be in a position to influence and affect emergency care.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and prioritising patient care to ensure maximum flow through the department, working with a dynamic nursing team with strong peer support.

Qualifications
Essential
- Foundation Degree achieved through recognised Nursing Associate training programme
- A minimum of C grade GCSE or equivalent, in English and Maths
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Two years previous experience working and communicating with the public in a health/social care/educational setting or gained through recognised Nursing Associate training programme
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the team worked in and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development.
- Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
- Understanding of how to apply evidence based practice to ensure high quality care for patient's
