Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is seeking a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our theatre team.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to delivering high-quality patient care in the perioperative episode.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and technical assistance as a member of the theatre team.
  • Act as a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology, and urology surgery.
  • Contribute to quality improvements and promote best practice.
  • Support colleagues in delivering excellent patient care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
