About the Role:

Pelsis Group is a leading provider of pest control solutions, catering to both professional and consumer needs with a diverse range of products and brands.

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Global Portfolio Lead to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within a specified product portfolio across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the Innovation Triangle (Portfolio, Marketing, R&D/Design) and the Commercial Triangle (Portfolio, Sales and Marketing) for the portfolio
  • Conduct competitor analysis, analyze market dynamics, and competitors
  • Understand user needs and develop relationships with key accounts
  • Drive New Product Development, building global business cases, and working alongside engineering teams to ensure delivery to the brief
  • Collaborate with Regional Product Managers, Sales Directors, and General Managers to define range and commercial strategy
  • Responsible for price positioning (launch pricing and pricing management)
  • Own the product messaging, working with Brand & Marketing for communications and POS definition
  • Develop product performance/testing methodologies
  • Line management of Global Portfolio Manager(s) as required

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as Portfolio/Category/Product Lead or similar role
  • Experience of working within technical product roles is essential, with digital/connected technologies an advantage
  • Highly commercial, with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Data and analysis literate
  • Confident in data-led decision making
  • Fluent in Business-English
  • Candidate will need to ensure a regular presence in our development & manufacturing site, as well as occasional travel to the Group's regional offices, customers, suppliers, and tradeshows
