About the Role

Pelsis Group is a global leader in pest control solutions, delivering innovative products and services to professionals and consumers worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Portfolio Lead to join our team and drive growth across our strategically important products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio strategy, aligning with our company vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with Regional Product Managers to ensure customer needs are met and product offerings are optimized.
  • Lead the development of the product roadmap, leveraging insights and strategy to drive business growth.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, ensuring timely and effective product launches and retirements.
  • Responsible for competitor analysis, market dynamics, and competitor intelligence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze customer and consumer trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and propose strategies to win market share in each market.
  • Drive new product development, working closely with engineering teams to ensure delivery to brief.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain teams to manage strategic suppliers and ensure efficient product delivery.
  • Lead portfolio discussions and presentations during range reviews.
  • Collaborate with Regional Product Managers, Sales Directors, and General Managers to define range and commercial strategy.
  • Responsible for the portfolio catalogue, including unique selling propositions and product marketing.
  • Responsible for price positioning, including launch pricing and pricing management.
  • Own the product messaging, working with Brand & Marketing for communications and POS definition.
  • Develop product performance and testing methodologies.
  • Line management of Global Portfolio Manager(s) as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as Portfolio/Category/Product Lead or similar role.
  • Experience working within technical product roles, with digital/connected technologies an advantage.
  • Highly commercial, with an entrepreneurial approach.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and establish strong relationships.
  • Ability to create high-level views and prioritize strategically.
  • Data and analysis literate.
  • Experience managing product-line profitability.
  • Ability to work across channels and segment users.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.

Pelsis Group is committed to providing a dynamic and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will be based in our West Midlands development and manufacturing site, with occasional travel to regional offices, customers, suppliers, and tradeshows.
