Senior GI Specialist Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for two full-time consultant gastroenterologists to join our esteemed department at University Hospitals Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals to make a meaningful impact in the field of gastroenterology.

The selected candidates will work closely with a team of experienced consultants, with a wide range of specialist interests, including IBD, hepatology, ERCP/EUS, and upper GI therapeutics. The merged department boasts high-volume endoscopy, exceeding 25,000 procedures annually, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, offering a competitive annual salary of £120,000 - £150,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role comes with a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous annual leave.

The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, managing complex inpatient gastroenterology cases, and contributing to the redesign of gastroenterology services within the trust.
