The Actuary Group is seeking an experienced actuary to lead our longevity and reinsurance efforts. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice on longevity and reinsurance matters, developing and implementing effective strategies for our clients.

You will have a strong background in actuarial science and experience working within the Actuarial Function of a UK Life assurer. Your responsibilities will include leading projects related to longevity, assumption setting, and capital models, building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and taking charge on various thought leadership areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading projects on longevity, assumption setting, and capital models
  • Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Taking charge on various thought leadership areas
  • Conducting reinsurance pricing activities and negotiating terms
  • Working with the Origination team and pension schemes to design and administer capital efficient solutions
  • Overseeing reinsurance treaty operations and collateral arrangements
  • Managing/mentoring junior members of the team
  • Overseeing technical aspects of models and experience analysis
  • Contributing to the risk management function from a BPA perspective

Expected Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, based on your experience.
