Automation Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at CV Library in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the commissioning and programming of automated machinery.
The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical engineering background, with experience in robot programming highly advantageous.
You will be working with cutting-edge technology in the automation industry, contributing to ongoing software development for existing and new products. Additionally, you will deliver customer training and offer technical support remotely and on-site for engineers and clients.
This is a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer looking for PLC Software training or an experienced Commissioning Engineer who wants to join a team at the forefront of automation technology.
Please note that all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming and commissioning of automated machinery
- Full system commissioning, including software, mechanical, and electrical components
- Handling site installations, software integrations, and commissioning
- Contributing to ongoing software development for existing and new products
- Delivering customer training and offering technical support both remotely and on-site
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude
- Experience of robot programming highly advantageous
