About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Operational Duty Manager to join our professional team at the Lydiard Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring daily operations run smoothly and providing a first-class experience to all users and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily operations and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage guest services, including alcohol license management and function room changeovers
  • Liaise with colleagues and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Support the events team with event management duties and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage staff rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels
Requirements
  • Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, and customer service industries, with supervisory or management experience
  • Fluency in English language (as a requirement of part 7 of the immigration act) for effective performance of a customer-facing role
  • Ability to work weekend shifts, late nights, and a 5-over-7 shift pattern
