About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Operational Duty Manager to join our professional team at the Lydiard Hotel & Conference Centre. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our hotel and conference facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel, including front of house staff and guest services.
  • Manage the hotel's alcohol license and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Oversee the changeovers of function rooms and ensure seamless operations across all disciplines.
  • Liaise with colleagues and departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the Duty Manager in managing Health and Safety regulations and risk assessments.
  • Assist the events team with event management duties.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, and customer service industries, with a focus on supervision or management.
  • Fluency in the English language, as required by part 7 of the Immigration Act.
  • Ability to work a 5 over 7 shift pattern, including weekends and late nights.
