Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their team as a leader.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading teams, managing services, and developing business plans. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

  • To lead and develop the Speech and Language Therapy team, ensuring high-quality clinical services are delivered to patients and their families.
  • To manage and allocate workload for the team, adapting to changing demands and pressures.
  • To contribute to Trust-wide risk management and policy development.
  • To participate in the management on-call rota.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration.
  • Masters or equivalent experience.
  • Significant and relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Professional/Team Leadership experience.
  • Dysphagia competent therapist.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
