About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Conference and Events Manager to join our team at Apex City of Bath Hotel. As a key member of our Conference and Events Team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of all conference areas within the hotel.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist the Conference and Events Manager in the planning and execution of conferences, events, and banquets.
- Ensure meeting rooms and events areas are set up correctly for guests to provide an excellent experience.
- Coordinate with the Conference and Events Team to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Maximize sales and profit while ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Assist the Conference and Events Manager in coaching, training, and supporting the Conference and Banqueting Team to provide consistently high standards.
- Respond to audits to ensure continual improvement within the team.
- Assist the Conference and Events Manager in controlling the conference budget, including occupancy, departmental expenses, and staff rotas.
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star hotel environment. You will be able to deliver exceptional customer service, work well under pressure, and have a strong attention to detail.
