Assembly Quality Management Placement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled student to support the development and improvement of key business and quality processes in our Assembly Quality Management department. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in solving complex issues related to our production systems and contributing to quality improvements.

About the Role
  • You will actively engage in solving complex problems related to production systems, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Support and coordination of daily tasks and longer-term projects, working closely with the management team.
  • Co-ordination and steering of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support and implementation of quality improvements through complex problem-solving, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Analysis of data sets to provide transparency and identify opportunities for improvement, contributing to the company's mission to excel in quality.
  • Steering and implementation of planning activities to support volume flexibility and new product introduction, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Supporting the implementation of the Value Production System and Work Organisation throughout the Assembly process, promoting efficiency and quality.
What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree in an Engineering, IT, or relevant field, with a strong academic record.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Manufacturing Systems, and/or Quality Systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Able to work from own initiative, taking projects and tasks from concept through to a complete and implemented solution, with strong PC skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office.
