Job Overview:

Digitaltidewave is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, working closely with registered nursing staff to implement care plans and meet patients' needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement care plans developed by registered nursing staff.
  • Support patients with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Evaluate patients' nutritional requirements and document findings accurately.
  • Develop strategies to prevent pressure ulcers and promote wound healing.
  • Promote engagement in therapeutic recreational activities for patients.
  • Contribute to ongoing assessments and evaluations of patient care.
  • Foster open communication with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality.
  • Report any concerns or changes in patient condition to registered nurses.
  • Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives, including audits and end-of-life care.
  • Assist in collecting and documenting vital signs under the supervision of registered staff.
  • Protect vulnerable individuals from abuse and report any suspicions.
Qualifications:
  • Support experienced nurses in their roles.
  • Understand and contribute to protecting vulnerable adults, children, and young people.

Salary Range: $42,000 - $52,000 per year.
