We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Chesterfield, North Derbyshire.
The successful candidate will work with an 18-year-old young woman who has cerebral palsy, providing support and assistance with daily activities and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with mobility and daily living tasks.
- Accompany the individual on community outings and activities, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the individual, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Work collaboratively with the individual's care team to ensure seamless support and care.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with individuals with cerebral palsy or other disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS check.
Working Hours:
32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 3.30pm (negotiable with flexibility required).
Rate of Pay:
£13.00 per hour.
