Production Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Manager to lead and inspire a forward-thinking Manufacturing operation.
About the Role:This pivotal role will oversee the daily tasks of creating an A* Production facility, whilst managing ongoing operational growing pains.
You will also influence demand and forecasting requirements of the facility, managing material forecasting, product flow, inbound, on-site inventory, manage key suppliers, and handle product queries with finesse.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the UK lead for all Production / Manufacturing activates across both existing and new customers with varied requirements.
- Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts by analysing market trends, historical data, and inventory levels, ensuring our manufacturing facility can meet client demands efficiently.
- Oversee and optimise raw material inventory levels on-site, ensuring a smooth manufacturing flow.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
- Act as the first point of contact for product quotations, queries, quality issues - demonstrating an exceptional level of service and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the end to end manufacturing / supply chain process, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Proven experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment for a minimum of 5+ years
- Knowledge of the FMCG / Food / Premium Food sectors
- Great people management skills, having overseen teams of 10+ employees previously
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work within complex projects & datasets
- Excellent communication and organisational negotiation skills
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field - Desirable
- Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
