Forecasting and Stock Planner

We are seeking a skilled Forecasting and Stock Planner to join our Electrical category team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective forecasting and stock planning strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Your primary focus will be on creating accurate and reliable forecasts, analyzing sales performance, and making data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts. You will work closely with the Category Manager to develop and implement trading plans, manage relationships with suppliers and brands, and ensure seamless communication across the logistics, supply chain, and trading teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining accurate and reliable forecasts
- Analyzing sales performance and making data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels
- Working with the Category Manager to develop and implement trading plans
- Managing relationships with suppliers and brands to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products
- Coordinating with the logistics, supply chain, and trading teams to ensure seamless communication and execution
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in merchandising, WSSI management, and trading is highly desirable.
