Forecasting and Stock Planner

We are seeking a highly skilled Forecasting and Stock Planner to join our Electrical category team on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial range plans, in-season forecasting, stock management, and availability. You will also work closely with suppliers and brands to manage over/under performance and build strong cross-functional relationships across logistics, supply chain, trading, and supplier management teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain accurate and reliable forecasting models to inform stock planning decisions.
- Collaborate with the Category Manager to analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date stock plans, including line-level forecasts and phasing.
- Work closely with suppliers and brands to negotiate and manage stock levels, ensuring maximum availability and efficiency.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance stock planning and management.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Forecasting and Stock Planner with a strong background in merchandising, WSSI management, and supply chain analysis. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions. You will also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, brands, and internal stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of stock planning and management principles, as well as experience working with large datasets and analytical tools. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
