Key Responsibilities

As a Dedicated Autism Support Professional at Accelerate Teaching, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other professionals and families.
  • Utilising a range of teaching strategies and resources to support students' learning and development.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
  • Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Salary Range: £42,000 - £58,000 per annum, based on experience.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification, with a degree in Education or related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching students with special educational needs, with a strong passion for supporting students with autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to continually improve practice and expertise.
