Senior Paraplanner Opportunity

A leading Financial Planning practice, Tempest Jones, is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. As a Senior Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to Financial Advisers and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of technical research and report writing processes to enhance efficiency in the technical team.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Paraplanners, including induction, ongoing training, and support.
  • Carry out technical research and analysis to support Financial Advisers and meet client needs and objectives.
  • Prepare cashflow modelling reports to assist with client retirement planning.
  • Prepare suitability letters across a wide range of advice types, financial products, investment, and pension solutions.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within the financial services industry, preferably in an Independent Financial Adviser environment, with a strong background as a Paraplanner.
  • Solid technical product knowledge within pensions and investments, along with strong analytical skills.
  • A track record of delivering written financial advice as an adviser or Paraplanner.
  • The ability to positively influence others and lead by example.
  • Qualification to Level 4 Diploma status, with a desire to achieve Chartered status.
